I began my nursing career as an RN in the emergency department, where I worked for 4 years. In 2019, I graduated with my MSN from the University of Cincinnati and stepped into my new role as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

That first year was a whirlwind — exciting, stressful, overwhelming, and at times isolating. Transitioning from the fast-paced ER setting to a primary care office was a culture shock, and I often felt like I was navigating it alone.

Now, nearly 5 years later, I finally feel confident in practice — and I want to shorten that learning curve for new nurse practitioners like you.

 Life Beyond the Clinic

Outside of my role as a nurse practitioner and mentor, my favorite job is being a mom. I have three amazing kids who keep life busy, joyful, and full of laughter. Most of my free time is spent at sports games, school activities, and family adventures. We love spending time outdoors, enjoying simple moments together, and making memories as a family. Balancing career and family has taught me the importance of flexibility, patience, and perspective — lessons I carry into my mentorship with new NPs.

My Mission

The Nurse Practitioner Mentorship, my mission is simple: to help new nurse practitioners feel confident, supported, and prepared as they step into primary care. I know firsthand how overwhelming the transition from RN to NP can be, and I believe no one should have to go through it alone. That’s why I created programs, resources, and mentorship designed to give you the tools, guidance, and encouragement you need to succeed — not just in your career, but in building a balanced, fulfilling life as a nurse practitioner.
